Minimum Academic Requirements
- Be a South African Mathematics: Rating level 5 (60%) for non-engineering studies. Science: Similar rating (Level 5/60% or Level 6/70%) if required for the chosen engineering course
- Level 6 (70%) if for engineering studies. English: rating Level 5 (60%)
Required Documents & Supporting Documents
- A certified copy of personal identity (ID or birth certificate).
- Proof of academic results (for Grade 12 applicants: latest Grade 11 December results, and Grade 12 mid-term/preliminary where applicable; for current tertiary students: full academic transcript).
- Curriculum vitae (max 3 pages) if already in higher education.
- Proof of address.
- Registration or acceptance letter from the institution.

- Applicants who already have sponsorship from another bursary/scholarship are not considered.
- Applications must be complete; incomplete or late submissions are automatically ineligible.
