Role Overview – Client Services Intern
Within the Global Client Support group you’ll be part of the team that delivers post-sales support, optimization, training and operations for Visa’s clients, including issuers, acquirers, processors and merchants worldwide.
As an intern, you may:

  • Respond to routine operational service and support inquiries for client institutions.
  • Provide guidance on VisaNet Core Application Services, transaction research, billing and user-ID queries.
  • Conduct transaction and process investigations to identify technical or operational issues.
  • Perform timely and accurate data entry for assigned client institutions.
  • Log service requests and resolutions in tracking or knowledge-base systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Client Support Services (CSS), the CMS team and other departments to resolve client issues.
  • Meet commitments and deliver service to clients.
  • Organize tasks and activities, and propose process-improvement ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage information in CRM tools and analyze customer data to identify trends.
  • Attend client Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings to gain insights.

Who we’re looking for
You should be:

  • A student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or IT, with expected graduation by December 2026.
  • Available to participate in a full-time internship from June through August 2026 and able to join a full-time role by January 2027.
  • Eager to deliver excellent service and support, past payments experience isn’t required, but is a plus.
  • Skilled with tools like PowerPoint and Excel, with strong analytical and financial-analysis abilities.
  • A confident communicator who can articulate ideas to key stakeholders, work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate with a diverse peer group.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and ready to solve problems effectively.
