Job Description

The Data Analytics Graduate Programme within Standard Bank Connect is a structured development initiative designed to equip high-potential graduates with hands-on experience in identifying, analysing and preventing revenue leakage within the organisation. Anchored in the Revenue Assurance team, the programme provides exposure to the critical financial and operational processes that underpin accurate billing, strong data integrity, and sustainable financial performance.

Through immersive engagement with billing systems, advanced data analysis tools, and cross-functional business processes, graduates develop a comprehensive understanding of how revenue flows across the business. The programme places a strong emphasis on the design and application of effective controls to safeguard revenue while ensuring alignment with internal governance standards and regulatory requirements.

The primary objective of the programme is to build future-ready capabilities in revenue assurance. Graduates participate in real operational scenarios that include data reconciliation, anomaly detection, financial validation, and process optimisation. This practical experience cultivates strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.

Graduates work closely with the Standard Bank Connect Revenue Assurance team to support the integrity of customer usage, charging, billing, and reporting processes. This collaboration reinforces operational transparency, accuracy, and alignment to broader organisational objectives.

Overall, the programme is designed to accelerate the transition from academic learning to professional impact, positioning graduates to contribute meaningfully to financial governance, operational excellence, and long-term business sustainability within Standard Bank Connect.
