Job Description
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Marketing and Brand Assistant to provide essential operational support to the marketing team, ensuring the effective execution of brand initiatives. This role supports brand activities, point-of-sale (POS) coordination, website updates, and accurate reporting, while also playing a key role in maintaining quality and compliance processes. Responsibilities include managing complaint data, maintaining audit-ready records, and supporting SED/ED documentation. The position offers valuable exposure to brand management, activations, and digital marketing, making it an ideal stepping stone toward a career in Brand Management.
Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of brand strategies and annual marketing plans

Assist in executing brand activities in line with the marketing calendar and report on progress

Support new product development and packaging updates through documentation and coordination
-
Manage POS materials, promotional stock, and activation logistics, ensuring on-time delivery and zero stock-outs

Track and report on marketing budgets and expenses, ensuring accurate invoice reconciliation

Coordinate website updates and ensure e-commerce accuracy, including monthly sales and product reporting

Provide operational support to align marketing activities with sales priorities through effective communication and POS delivery

Maintain compliance documentation for BEE, ED/SED, and audits, ensuring complete, accurate, and submission-ready records

Capture, update, and manage marketing, activation, and compliance data to support reporting and audits

Assist with consumer engagement by capturing complaint data, compiling weekly dashboards, maintaining audit-ready records, and coordinating query resolution with the Consumer Engagement Manager

Collaborate with agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time, providing regular progress updates
Requirements
-
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, or a related field
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
-
Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and intermediate Excel skills
-
A keen interest in marketing, product development, and digital marketing
