Job Description

Our client is an international travel and hospitality business working across multiple brands, with a predominantly global client base supported by local partners and suppliers. They have a lean central marketing/design function and need a designer who can take real ownership and deliver consistently high-quality work.

What the job involves

  • Creating and adapting high-quality branded visual assets across multiple businesses and brand identities
  • Designing brochures, sales documents, trade show collateral, event material, internal templates and branded tools
  • Building company presentations, pitch decks and polished B2B/B2C comms
  • Designing for social and digital: static posts, carousels, stories, and campaign assets
  • Creating short-form video content (reels/shorts) and basic motion/animation where needed
  • Supporting marketing rollouts: seasonal offers, launches, email visuals, website updates and content presentation
  • Using AI tools in practical, real workflows (ideation, mood boards, image enhancement, adaptation, speed/efficiency)
  • Collaborating with internal teams plus external suppliers (photographers, videographers, printers, web devs)
  • Managing multiple priorities while keeping quality and deadlines tight

What you need to be considered

  • 3–5 years’ relevant design experience
  • A strong portfolio that shows: brochures/presentations, social content, branding, digital campaign visuals (and reels/short-form video if you have it)
  • Excellent visual taste with strong typography, layout, hierarchy and premium/luxury presentation skills
  • Confidence working across print + digital, and adapting content for different platforms (Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Practical, hands-on AI capability — you can explain what tools you use and how you use them in production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign + advanced Canva
  • Ability to work autonomously, stay organised, and deliver consistently professional output
  • Portfolio link included in your CV/application (no portfolio = no response)

Why you’d want to work here

  • International, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
  • Work across multiple brands and categories (luxury travel, safari & lodge, lifestyle, hospitality)
  • Big on quality: clean, premium, polished output is the standard
  • Collaborative teams and lots of variety — no “same thing, different day” work

Bonus points if you

  • Have Premiere Pro and/or After Effects experience
  • Have worked in travel, hospitality, luxury or lifestyle brands
  • Can support WordPress, Mailchimp, Figma or basic HTML/CSS
  • Regularly use tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity (and can show real examples of output)
