Business Development Internship – Starting June 2026

Start Date: June 2026 (3-month internship)

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern, you’ll support Visa’s local team with day-to-day operations and contribute to strategic business initiatives across multiple markets. This internship provides the opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales management, strategy, and client relationship development within a leading global payments company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the local business development team.
  • Contribute to the planning, production, and execution of initiatives outlined in country business plans.
  • Conduct competition analysis and market monitoring.
  • Assist with client queries and issue resolution.
  • Support business planning and operations with regular reporting (weekly, monthly, or quarterly).
  • Help update playbooks and country plans.
  • Coordinate with other Visa departments to track progress on country initiatives.
  • Participate in ad hoc research, projects, and presentations as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating in December 2026.
  • Available for a full-time internship from June to August 2026.
  • Able to join a full-time role by January 2027.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Confident, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
