Who Can Apply?
The internship is intended for students who are currently working towards a relevant teaching qualification at a South African university.
Applicants should:
- Be in their second, third or fourth year of study.
- Be studying towards a BEd, PGCE or another relevant qualification.
- Provide proof of their year-end examination results.
- Be South African citizens.
- Have a clear Criminal Clearance Certificate.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Be comfortable assisting with classroom activities.
- Be capable of coaching a range of sporting activities.
Previous experience at an ISASA-affiliated school or working within the IEB curriculum will be an advantage.
Previous boarding school experience may also strengthen an application.
