Job Description

A leading professional services firm is seeking a talented Website Developer to join their Marketing Department. Positioned within an evolving digital landscape, this role is critical for building, maintaining, and elevating the organisation’s online presence through high-impact website experiences. Unlike a standard development role, this position focuses heavily on creating conversion-driven landing pages and introducing innovative technical solutions that turn visitors into high-quality leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Development & Experience Design: Build conversion-focused landing pages, implement new layouts, and enhance UX/UI while maintaining the WordPress architecture. The Developer will design user journeys specifically aimed at driving lead generation.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Execute A/B experiments, develop and test new layout ideas, and optimise CTAs and page structures. This includes analysing user behaviour to refine form flows and introduce concepts that boost conversions.
  • Technical Maintenance & Performance: Manage plugins, troubleshoot technical issues, improve security protocols, and maintain hosting environments. The role is also responsible for strengthening and testing mobile responsiveness across all platforms.
  • Technical SEO Support: Implement technical recommendations in collaboration with the SEO Specialist, including managing schema, optimising site speed, and maintaining a site structure aligned with SEO best practices.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Provide data-driven insights on performance and collaborate closely with the Marketing and Growth teams to prioritise site enhancements and strategic digital projects.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in website development.
  • Lead Generation Focus: A proven track record of building high-conversion landing pages.
  • Technical SEO: Experience supporting technical SEO implementation (speed optimisation, structure, and schema).
  • UX & CRO: Strong experience in User Experience (UX) design and performance optimisation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced WordPress training or professional certifications.
  • Specialised CRO training or certifications.

Required Software Skills

  • WordPress (Advanced Architecture)
  • PHP, HTML, and CSS
  • Google Analytics / Search Console
  • SEO Schema & Speed Optimisation Tools
  • Hosting Environment Management (CPanel/AWS/Managed Hosting)

Benefits

  • 18 days annual leave, plus an additional 3 days dedicated to mental wellness leave.
  • They offer bi-annual salary increases, clear growth pathways, and an environment where individuals are empowered to own their development and career progression.
  • The business is expanding into the USA and UK markets, creating exciting opportunities for global exposure and professional growth.
  • They are building more than roles, they are building careers within a values driven, high-performance environment.
