Job Description
Choosing the right law firm is a big decision for every graduating law student because the firm you serve your CA/PVTC in sets the stage for the rest of your career.
Securing a place on the Werksmans CA/PVTC Programme opens up a realm of legal knowledge. We see our CA’s of today as the leaders of our firm tomorrow.
The CA/PVTC Programme will give you the opportunity to work with high-calibre clients (including many of South Africa’s leading multinationals, listed companies and financial institutions), alongside some of the best legal minds in the country.
At Werksmans, there is limited space on our vacation and CA/PVTC programmes. We therefore encourage students to apply as early as possible.
Who we look for:
- We look for attorneys who have a passion for life, learning, expertise and intellect.
- We accept applications from the following disciplines across all accredited South African institutes of higher learning, LLB, B Com Law, BA Law, BAccLLB.
- We seek students who are academically excellent and who also have diverse interests.
Opportunities and duration:
- 2026 Winter Vacation Work – 2 weeks during June/July
- 2028 Candidate Attorney (PVTC) – 24 months (2 years)
