Job Description

Why you’d want to work here

  • Work at a highly respected, integrated agency with a strong creative reputation
  • Be part of a high-performing team that’s big on kindness, respect and “no ego” collaboration
  • Performance bonus structure
  • Real exposure to top-tier work and the chance to learn fast on a busy, exciting retail account

About our client
Our client is a mid-to-large, award-winning integrated agency with a warm, high-performance culture. They take their craft (and their client relationships) seriously — and they’re looking for an organised, proactive Account Executive to help deliver fast-moving, multi-channel campaigns for a major retail clothing brand.

What the job involves

  • Supporting the Account team to deliver retail campaigns across print, digital and in-store channels
  • Tracking briefs, timelines and deliverables to keep everything moving (and nothing slipping)
  • Maintaining status documents, job bags and trackers across multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Coordinating internal reviews, approvals and client feedback loops
  • Taking meeting notes, compiling contact reports, and driving action lists through to completion
  • Assisting with presentations and client-ready documentation
  • Dispatching approved artwork to partners/stakeholders, with sharp version control and accuracy
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams
  • Escalating risks or delays to the Account Manager early (no surprises)
  • Coordinating production and product workflows for campaigns and shoots
  • Managing product samples: collection, tracking, returns and logistics between locations
  • Organising product imagery and maintaining tidy, up-to-date asset libraries
  • Supporting fittings and pre-production: look lists, readiness and sample coordination
  • Providing on-set support when needed (keeping product accurate and organised)
  • Helping improve workflows by bringing ideas, solutions and a “let’s figure it out” attitude

What you need to be considered

  • 1–2+ years’ experience in an advertising agency or similar environment (retail is a big plus)
  • Merchandising/buying experience would go a long way
  • Strong admin, organisation and coordination skills (you’re the “details” person)
  • Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence compiling presentations
  • A working understanding of campaign production across print and digital
  • Confident, clear communication — written and verbal
  • Calm prioritisation skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (especially with versions, naming and approvals)
  • A proactive, positive approach — eager to learn and willing to pitch in when it counts

Bonus points if you

  • Have retail client experience
  • Enjoy the pace of multi-channel, always-on work
  • Love process, checklists, trackers and making things run smoother every week
